Cascais by night - Cascais - Portugal
A backstreet in Cascais at night. The street lights casted a yellow hue over the old Portugese houses.
Old Havana Market - Havana - Cuba
These colourful canvases caught my eye in the tourist area of Havana. The colours were amazing. The seller wanted me to take numerous compositions of his creations, so only too happy to oblige
Rush Hour - Havana - Cuba

I woke up specifically for this shot in mind. I was hoping to find a colourful old car to go past these traditional stlye Cuban bulidings. I panned the car (use a slow shutter speed and track the car as it goes past) to get this effect. No Photoshop!

One from the archives. An alternative angle of the Wrecked Chevy on the streets of Havana
go BIG!! Most images in my porfolio can be printed up to a metre long! These look great in bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms or in office waiting rooms.

Bodicote Barley - Bodicote - Oxfordshire
(Click on photo for larger version)
I was looking for a composition of Bodicote for the local Bodicote Calendar, the sun was going down but I didn't like the shot I was intending on. I found this barley and got my MACRO lens out, I positioned the setting sun behind the barley. I'm not sure about this photo but some others seem to like it.

Durdle Dor - Jurassic Coast - Dorset
(Click on photo for larger version)
I set out to take a different shot when I reached Durdle Dor. I arrived too late in the season for the shot I wanted. I moved around and found this composition where the curves of the beach leads your eye through the photo. The light wasn't very exciting for most of the sunset until the wind picked up, clouds appeared and colour filled the landscape in front of me. The cloud formation wasn't that attractive so I used a 2 mintue exposure to blur the movement of the clouds. The result surprised me as the red colour from the twilight sky reached the rocks of the arch.
